A new entrepreneur will be at the helm of the company from 1 July 2025. This change will open up new perspectives with a clear vision for the future.
Mr. Manuel Schmuker will be acquiring the family business that was founded in 1933. The medical technology specialist, HAEBERLE, is based in Stuttgart and is a European leader in the development of multifunctional equipment cart systems. Renowned manufacturers including Aesculap, Storz Medical AG and Bowa Medical have been using HAEBERLE’s tailor-made solutions for many decades. The company is a proven expert in the integration of medical applications into equipment cart systems. HAEBERLE cart systems represent maximum flexibility, the highest precision and ergonomic design. Thousands of individually configured systems leave our production facility every year that are perfectly tailored to the requirements of the latest medical technology. The result is meticulously designed platforms that are tried-and-tested in clinics and doctors’ surgeries all over the world.

Manuel Schmuker brings with him a wealth of experience in management positions at prestigious companies. He has a reputation as an accomplished strategist with an acute sense of technological trends and commercial opportunities.
Bernd Hofacker is retiring as Managing Director after more than 20 years of service at HAEBERLE. HAEBERLE would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr. Hofacker for his commitment and the successful development of the company. The HAEBERLE success story began 90 years ago in a small workshop in Stuttgart founded by an expert surgical mechanic, Paul Haeberle, and his wife, Martha. Their recipe for success: Innovative spirit, entrepreneurial vision and close attention to detail. These values shaped the company through its long history and created a solid foundation on which the company will continue to move forward in the future.
